It was a silly bug, I've fixed it, should work now.
Yes, it does work. I get the following:

   #upsc [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   battery.charge: 98.5
   battery.voltage: 2.3
   battery.voltage.nominal: 96.0
   driver.name: megatec
   driver.parameter.port: /dev/ttyS0
   driver.version: 2.1.0
   driver.version.internal: 1.4
   input.frequency: 50.0
   input.voltage: 234.2
   input.voltage.fault: 190.0
   input.voltage.maximum: 234.2
   input.voltage.minimum: 234.2
   output.voltage: 221.3
   output.voltage.nominal: 220.0
   ups.delay.shutdown: 2
   ups.delay.start: 3
   ups.load: 0.0
   ups.mfr: Ablerex
   ups.model: MS3000RT MS02035C
   ups.serial: unknown
   ups.status: OL
   ups.temperature: 35.9

I guess the 98.5 is the best we can get instead of the 100% which would be normal (and reported by the bundled software) ?
