For example we check to see if dhcp and stateful is on the index and then plow through doing the right thing for v4 ignoring if its v6. I don't have a great test setup to control stateful vs stateless v6. I'm going to work on that tomorrow. This also brought back discussions about when v6 interfaces come up. Is a link local address sufficient? I thought we had decided it was.
