This is actually one of the major selling points of the nodedb.com
software, it does exactly this.

The privacy issue though is with the bulk export of data from our app to
an app hosted by anohter entity.  Doing that without peoples express
permission is bad juju.

That being said, just starting off from scratch again with a clear
privacy policy might not be an all bad thing.  It would certainly be a
fairly effective way of doing a node audit but it would also be a
hassle.
