Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     6/15: BLACK TERN, BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON and LEAST BITTERN were all 
noted along the Wildlife Drive.

     6/17: An AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN was seen at VanDyne Spoor Road. Also seen 
there were BLACK TERNS and a LEAST BITTERN.

     6/18: A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER continues at the forested area of Armitage 
Road.

     6/20: 2 ORCHARD ORIOLES were seen on the Wildlife Drive. 40 BLACK TERNS 
and a BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON were seen at Tschache Pool. An ORCHARE ORIOLE 
was seen at VanDyne Spoor Road.

     6/21: A GREAT EGRET, a CERULEAN WARBLER and an ORCHARD ORIOLE were seen on 
Howland Island.







Cayuga County

     A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues at Fair Haven State Park.







Onondaga County

------------




     6/16: A pair of RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS were seen in the Seneca River in 
Baldwinsville.

     6/20: 2 ORCHARD ORIOLES were seen at Green Lakes State Park. A GRASSHOPPER 
SPARROW was seen at Cedar Bay Park in Fayetteville.

     6/21: A PRAIRIE WARBLER continues at Green Lakes State Park.







Oswego County

------------




     6/15: A BLACK VULTURE was seen and photographed from Hinman Road north of 
Pulaski.

     6/16: A LEAST BITTERN was found at Selkirk Shores State Park. 2 SNOW GEESE 
were found at Markowitz Road in Parish.

     6/19: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was again heard from Martin Road north of Oneida 
Lake.

     6/20: A YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER was seen from Kibbe Lake Road north of 
Constantia.

     6/21: 5 PIPING PLOVERS were seen at the outlet of Sandy Pond on Lake 
Ontario.







Madison County

------------




     6/16: The FRANKLIN’S GULL found last week at Ditchbank Road north of 
Canastota was seen briefly early in the day but has not been seen since. Also 
seen there were a FISH CROW, a CERULEAN WARBLER and an ORCHARD ORIOLE.







Oneida County

------------




     6/16: A SAW-WHET OWL was heard on Brandy Lake Trail near Otter Lake.

     6/20: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was again noted on Lakeshore Road at the 
northeast end of Oneida Lake.

     6/22: A MERLIN was found in Camden.







Herkimer County

------------




     6/15: A PEREGRINE FALCON was again seen from West Casler Street in Little 
Falls.

     6/17: A PALM WARBLER, a SWAINSON’S THRUSH, a PHILADELPHIA VIREO and a 
BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKER were all found at Palm Warbler Bog near Stillwater in 
the Adirondacks.

     6/18: A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was seen at Beaver River in the Adironcacks. 

     6/19: A BLACKPOLL, possibly 2 , was seen near Mount Colden in the 
Adirondacks.
