Even God's reputation isn't as good as it should be. Web development is like any other service industry Michael, pay peanuts and you get monkeys. So I'm guessing that your own experiences with the quality and trust-worthiness of developers would be well below the bell-curve. I would be horrified if any of our customers didn't trust us. I don't see how you could operate in this industry without a level of trust from your clients. > The average quality has improved a bit over the last couple of years > however > having discussions about how to avoid responsibility for one's work > is not > going to endear this industry to the marketplace. > >> Additionally, as you are someone who has trusted this mailing list >> full of I.T. people to provide you with free help on many occasions >> instead of paying someone to do the work it's actually a bit >> insulting >> for you to say such a thing. >> >> Don't bite the hand that feeds you free support Michael. > > Do you have a point or would you rather this discussion is swept > under the > carpet in case any end customers see it and can relate to it? My point is not to insult the rest of this group and then expect us to give you help. This isn't the first time that your attitude has been less than desirable in this mailing list. If any end customers see this thread and do relate to your point of view then they have my sympathies and they need to find a new developer. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NZ PHP Users Group: http://groups.google.com/group/nzphpug To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
