Woah, defensive much? With a site the size of Facebook it's a hell of a lot 
harder to keep validation under control. There's so many different people 
working on it. Not to mention that "I can do crap work because someone else 
does it worse" is not the best attitude, always do your best ;)

It looks like you can fix those 4 errors by removing the random slash at the 
end of your doctype.  And it's not a "checksum validator" it's a validator of 
your adherence to the specification.
