I though the concern was clear. Changing the version control system affects how releases are made. Thus, this requires support from those who currently do the releases (which does not include me right now). A good first step would be to document what works for VLT right now - could that process be included into <http://jackrabbit.apache.org/jcr/creating-releases.html>? Or if this is too messay, could you create a separate version for projects on Git? Best regards, Julian
