So right now, the Oak 1.4 and 1.6 branch don't compile with Java 7, due to
"UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/apache/solr/client/solrj/SolrClient :
Unsupported major.minor version 52.0".
Given that Java 7 is EOL, I'm not sure if that's a problem or not. People might
still use Oak 1.4 and 1.6 with Java 8, and I think it's more important to
support that case than to support Java 7. People that still use Java 7
obviously don't need a new Solr version.
