Having a personal SAG is not the problem and I don't see how we can
prevent anyone from driving legally on public roads. It's the behaviour of
certain SAG drivers, as the original example of driving alongside the pack
showed. The SAG driver I saw on the cruise route Sunday behaved like any other
driver and I only knew she was sagging when I saw her tucked away fairly
unobtrusively in driveways. Even though I don't encourage them, it is
feasible to have a personal SAG and not create problems. Driving slowly
behind a pack or alongside one is problematic because those are not
normal driving practices and can unnecessarily impede traffic or even endanger
other road users.
Let's focus on the real problems. Bad driving/riding practices. Turn the
these over to the OPP officers to deal with. That's why we hire them.
Just my personal opinion.
