Hello Mel I'm so sorry you want to leave - but I also understand your frustration. I hope, in the end, you will have a re-think because, well, we need folk with your passion who truly look out for others..... Will you Mel ?......................will you give it a re- think? I have not kept up with the issues between you and JW. If it's the "JW" I am thinking of..........well, I too have had issues with him and I just think he's a person somewhat stuck in an unfortunately patronising mode. As a sage might say: He responds to situations according to the light he is given.............and sometimes I feel his candle has been extinguished..... If possible, try not to allow him to unsettle you so much. I just gave up reading his contributions after he once called me "paranoid" for airing my suspicions about a particular ADT security guard - about whom, in the end, my fears were justified. Then JW was somewhat quieter.
I simply can't understand WHY it is taking so long to have a radio installed in a patrol car. It's beyond me. I mean I know we live in Africa...........but..........this (span of time) seem absurd. What's with the SAPS? I simply need to understand why the delays. The radios are almost worthless without direct contact with the police............and on the two occasions I have attempted to make contact with them (having been told they now HAVE RADIO CONTACT) answer comes there none.
