I have a seven feet high electronic gate and since it's inception 2 years
ago, there has not been one person - to my knowledge, as nothing has ever
been removed from my property- who climbed over it.
previously, my seven feet brick wall which obscured my vision from the
outside world, was scaled repeatedly.
my theory is that if your home is "protected" by a high wall, you are
creating curiosity amongst the burglars out there by making them wonder
what you are hiding,...

my transition from wall to gate was the best security decision i have ever
made and i am not the only one, i assure you.
