Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure the three guys who rocked up in my street last year in a black Golf and painted a humungous "mural" on one of the walls also thought of their endeavour as a work of art. My neighbour saw them but was too scared to call the police because they'd noticed her looking at them. I hear the same guys also did a similar thing in upper Obs. Hey, but why wouldn't they? We love this kind of thing in our suburb! We think it makes our area look bright and bold and bohemian.

Lets not confuse that mural with grafitti in the first place. In the second Place I wuite liked the idea - although I agree it should not remain for any longer. Maybe there is a possibility that the sign could be repainted with a Welcome to Obs Mural or something with The Neighnbourhood Watch details.
