I don't suppose there's any chance of nailing Pedro on this, however
much we suspect him - the evidence is (presumably) only
circumstantial. But maybe it means that people should invent a way of
putting a personalised marking onto their hosepipes...?  I can't think
right now of a good way, but maybe someone else will. And on flower
pots et al.
