I noticed this afternoon a man carrying a hose near the corner
Oxford / Trill Roads. Just when I was going to radio SAPS miraculously
Const Lusipo ("Oupa") drove right behind me. I pointer over my
shoulder and the suspect got grilled but left off the hook.

On marking property, methods include: engraving, infrared and unique
DNA liquid materials, especially the latter is expensive and intended
for expensive items. (car parts can be invisibly irremovably marked
with less than a drop).

Tried marking with black permanent marking coki pen on the yellow
stroke along the length (H&F hose). I doubt however whether it will
last or be noticed. White pens are being made but may be as unique as
a honest crook in Observatory.

Carvings and the like may only proof ownership IF your hose is later
recovered
