I think that if the alarm is going off more often than just once, it
is not very neighbourly of the alarm owner to let it continue. Repeat
alarm signals are often a result the result of a fault and leaves the
place vulnerable to a cry wolf mentality. Surely you cant be
suggesting that its Frank's job to get out of bed when an alarm goes
off (especially if the alarm is being monitored) and perhaps being
shot by the robbers he disturbs. Its a suburban courtesy to make sure
your alarm is not someone else's irritation.
