No, I think Bev is right. The SPCA are experts at looking for abuse. Dogs
are loyal, no matter what,but they will not willingly be held or go to the
one who abuses them. I suspect that the dog is alright and that we can keep
a look out without being overly worried.

I feel better knowing is doing follow-up work...wish I could do it for

That's the thing about dogs...they love us no matter what..so the poor
doggy going back to his owner after an alleged beating really means
nothing to me...except that the dog is staying true to his loyal

Hockey stick / golf club / whatever........it's all one where abuse is
concerned....
I was being a bit pedantic there. Ooops....
The point of my input here, though, was to try to bring some closure
on the situation.
I hoped to ease both *my own* concerns as well as those of many on
this site who were worried for this dog.....
I certainly feel a whole lot better having chatted to the Inspector in
person.
He really gave me the impression that he didn't think there was much
to worry about.
