Hi Doug,
I'm also gatvol. I live on Arnold street between Scott and Bishop, also
had no power from somewhere between 11 and midnight. I have a baby in
the house, so to wake up in the middle of the night not being able to
use the microwave to heat milk is quite a pain in the ass, and also a
security issue, and the house gets too cold.
I phone city council, they had the same reply as the last two times.
They actually don't know what the problem is, it only happens when it
rains. They start looking for the problem, and it always ends up drying
before they find it, then everything works again, til the next big rain.
I think its out of their control, but it sure would be nice if they can
fix it. Let's just hold thumbs.

I am asking myself the question
WHY SO MANY POWER OUTAGES
We in Observatory between Rochester Road, to Milton Road and from
the lower main road to the top main road seem to suffer this
inconvenience every time we have a little bit of rain. The area could
be bigger but this is what I have ascertained.
This is the third power outage in this area in the last couple of months.
The latest one was still on the go from midnight last night to when I
left home for work this morning
What is the problem, and why can it not be fixed?
I would be happy if someone could supply an answer, I have mailed the
city, yet all the say they know about it....then nothing further.
Doug
