Subject: suspect vehicle

Hi

have you come across this vehicle before?

Sunday 31 July, 15h40 FNB ATM Park n Shop, Meadowridge.

My daughter had an attempted card scamming at the FNB ATM. It appears as if
the machine had been interfered with as when she put in her card it didn't
seem to be read, the ads continued and then she was asked for her cellphone
number. When she tried to cancel the transaction the screen kept reverting
to this request and at the same time a black male pushed up close behind her
and began harassing her to enter her pin. She eventually did this but hid
the keypad. When her card came out the man grabbed it and told her she had
to try again. She told him to leave her alone and he joined his companion in
a silver Polo reg CA 746 753.

She phoned me and I immediately drove to the centre but there was no sign of
the men or the vehicle. I got out of my car to check the ATM and while I was
there they drove up and parked next to me. The passenger got out, dressed
very smartly in a dark blue pin-strip collared shirt and grey pants, pointed
brown expensive looking shoes. I went to the back of their vehicle and
radioed the reg in to Control. Unfortunately they saw my radio and took off
at high speed. I followed but lost them just before Ladies Mile. Many thanks
to the other patrollers who assisted me to check all the ATMs in the Tokai
Constantia and Main Rd area.
