Not necessarily a bad idea. We would like to state that we are doing everything according to the "book". (Even with the tardy red tape of government). Our permanent liquor licence should be issued by next week latest (another promise) but we have secured a temporary liquor licence for the opening period. Even though the SAP officer in charge is on special leave, we ensured the station commander signed the temp license yesterday. We would like to be involved in the neighbourhood in any which way possible and make sure that we have a community where people feel safe and secure. With our new venture in Obz, we not only made improvement to the area but also create employment for our people. We will ensure that our patrons behave in a orderly manner whilst on our premises and request that they do the same while in public areas around Lion Corner. We had overwhelming response from the media and friends about the new restaurant and bar. We do expect that a number of people (including well known celebrities) that will attend the opening on Friday, but this should not be normal trade for Lion Corner on a daily basis. We would like to officially invite you to the opening or to just pop in any time for introductions, a drink or a wonderful meal. Hope to see you soon!
