Hi Jodi,

Mostly these gates were added by private residents. I was recently informed
that another lane's *whole gate *was stolen for the ever-growing scrap
metal 'recycling business'.

The lanes are available to rent from Council, and often the residents who's
properties border on the lane sign this lease together. You can contact
Johan de Goede to enquire about this if you wish -
[email protected].

Kind regards,

Ancois Bester Ms.
