Long after the Barmooda fire, we still have no clear answers, or even a clear description of what happened! The Obslife report is evidence of this.
Could the ONW or the Subforum and the CPF perhaps ask some questions? I have stopped expecting the seven *Cyclops cameras* in Obs tp provide any useful information, but I must point out that there is a Cyclops camera opposite the entrance to Barmooda on the corner of Lower Main and Station. (1) If this was working it should have recorded the whole event. (2) if it was being monitored from the Control Room someone should have seen what was happening and alerted SAPS and the FIre Brigade. Did either of these things happen? If not, why not? I am sure it would be in the public interest to provide some answers! -- OPS [Obsid Public Safety] - 24/7 control room ---------------------------------------------- 021-447-1066 072-063-1653 For all emergencies please dial 10111 ---------------------------------------------- ONW: 082 081 0142, ONW email: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups The Observatory Neighbourhood watch group.
