I am unimpressed and unconvinced by the claim that "the cameras were working". The point of having the cameras is not just to view footage after the event: it is for people in the control room to monitor what is happening (in "real time") and alert the police so that they can (i) intervene to prevent a crime, or (ii) arrest the suspect(s); or (iiii) assist the victims of crime. DId any of these things happen? If the cameras were "working", they should have! I wonder if any information will ever be disclosed to the public, or to the victims of the fire, or to the relevant insurance companies??
