Noise pollution is a nightmare, I agree. As per my last post, there are formal avenues you can follow. Go for it if you feel as strongly as you seem to. I certainly have when it's entailed verbally abusive neighbours, after-hours cronstruction, and all-night parties.
My objection to your post(s), as stated in mine, is your choice of words and your tone. I find them deeply offensive. The mosques are not in secular neighbourhoods; they're in Muslim ones. While not as frequent, the sounds of the (now many) evangelical churches on Lower Main and Main Roads, and St Michael's bells, are also part of my aural neighbourhood experience. It helps me, in all three instances, to know why and when to expect the sounds. Again, I suggest some research - and earplugs. Earplugs have saved my sanity in this lively neighbourhood we call Obs... I prefer the earplugs to losing what makes Obs lively.
