I am not Muslim and *I* find your post offensive (and embarrassing). I'm 
not going to engage in trying to enlighten you about Islam in this forum. 
Apart from anything else, as a non-Muslim, I am a long way from being an 
expert. However, I think you need to do some research into Islam in order 
to have a better idea of the what and why of the adhan. It might give you 
another, less offensive, perspective.

(Just to clarify: I live very close to the border with Salt River, so the 
adhan - from both mosques - is very much a part of my life.)
