Coverage is highly localised, so it's not that useful to ask generally
in Obs, as even the next road could be different. From my experience,
Vodacom has a weak patch going through the Lower Trill/Campbell area,
and presumably extending across to where you live in Nuttall. Coverage
from Cell C and MTN seems fine in the same area. I'm not sure about 8ta.
The best suggestion is to ask your immediate neighbours and friends when
they visit what their coverage is like, and move to a provider that you
know works well at your house. With number portability, there's no
reason to stay with a provider that gives you poor quality calls. You'll
probably end up saving money too.

*Subject:* [obsnw] Best Cellphone/3G coverage in Obz?
Apologies if slightly off-topic, but I think it's in everyone's best
interest to know which cellular network is the most reliable in our
area. It does have some manner of relevance to our security.
I'm currently with Vodacom and reception is absolutely dismal from
within my house, I cannot reliably receive calls in or out, 1 bar of
reception is good, if I'm lucky.
I've complained to Vodacom about this late last year, whereby they
informed me that negotiations were undergoing to install antennae on
the Hartleyvale spotlight towers to improve reception, which I
imagine would be great in my case, becaue my house is in line-of-sight
of the towers. Thing is, I'm not willing to wait in earnest...
*I'd be interested to know how others are fairing with their cellular
reception? *Maybe just keep it succinct by stating your network
provider, rating your reception from 1 to 10 and which street you may
be in.
Cheers
Chris
