Hi All, My alarm was originally installed by Obs Armed Response. I have two residences on the same property. Each residence has its own alarm system and they are connected to the same radio transmitter. I therefore pay one monthly service fee.
Then switched to ADT because I was not happy with the service I was getting from Obs Armed response. ADT initially offered a very good monthly rate but I also experienced exorbitant increases year on year. The final straw was when I had some maintenance work done on the system by ADT and they insisted that I needed to install an additional radio transmitter so that each alarm system would have its own transmitter. This would of of course mean paying two subscription fees every month. I argued that this was the way it had been operating for years with no problems but ADT refused to budge on the issue. I switched to Premier which at the time was offered me a monthly rate approx half of what I was paying ADT. I currently pay R321 per month and I am very happy with Premier's service. I was always very happy with ADT's operational service but their commercial policies need to be reviewed, in my opinion.
