Thanks Carolyn I skimmed through the regulation as usual a lot of blah blah blah. But no mention of times. Clearly amplified music that disturbs is listed, but not wailing of clerics and ringing of church bells. Disturbing the peace for you religion is obviously tolerated and allowed tacitly or implicitly.
Barbara do you have links to by laws that specify times. A noise louder than specified in regulations is not allowed at any time unless specific permission has been obtained - thats what I took from that legislation. It seems keeping a log is critical. Good luck to the OP. I don;t think this is an issue for the municipality and I doubt much joy without an appalling waste of time will be obtained. Perhaps earplugs and sleeping tablets or a good joint is the way to go.
