The workflow of monotone means that one can sort out all issues in their own tree. They can even expose that tree so that others can review and comment. So I don't know if I agree in your ideal world view. And the lack of cherrypicking makes resolving two branches in monotone actually discourages branching. It seems that hosts or monotone servers of the same repo should be marked stable and dev instead. But back to the main issue. I actually have a .dev based tree that has pretty much the same fixes in it. So I will probably just push those changes to the dev branch soon.
