A weekend question.
I have bought a Sony Discman car streo adapter,
which is designed to allow you to play a Discman through the cassette slot in
the car stereo.
The idea was that I would use it to play MP3's from
my laptop (on long trips)
It seems that I have a matching problem, because
even with the volume turned right up on the software (MusicMaker Jukebox), the
volume through the stereo is very faint.
I don't know anything about the audio side of
computers and wonder if there are any settings that I can alter to boost the
system volume from the laptop.
The laptop is a Dell Latitude CPi running NT4
SP5.
I have the adaptor plugged into the earphone socket
- there is no signal from the line out.
Any suggestions will be greatly
appreciated.
