you get a CD player with front input - thats what you do :) I think Sanyo
make them, but I'm not sure - it depends on the model.
HOWEVER, what you dont do, is go to dick smith and get a radio-broadcast
type thing - it plugs into the headphone socket of your device (MD player,
in my case) and the broadcasts that out on whatever FM frequency you have it
set to (can you say "illegal"???). Problem is, its analogue, so keeping it
on the same frequence is a nightmare.
what I'm waiting for is a unit in the boot that I can remove, the same size
etc as a CD changer, which outputs audio and contains MP3's - then I plug
that into the CD changer controler of my head unit (which supports CDText
too for track names), and off I go. it could be a nice little PC with a BIG
harddisk.
hmmm, maybe I should look into the control signals on my head unit.... can't
be THAT hard to push it into and out of a sound card and/or parallel
port.... and put Linux on it with a rechargable battery......... hmmmmmmmm.
Or, get one of the new Awia CD-MP3 things, which is a head unit that plays
CD's, and CDR/CDRW's with MP3s on them - its about 800$ tho.
