With vista you can debug into paint handlers a lot easier than on previous operating systems and honestly, how hard is it to throw a few extra lines in a paint event to make something a stand out colour.
I think that two monitors is overrated and I run two dual monitor systems. Especially when my single monitor has a 2560 x 1600 resolution. That is my opinion and you are certainly welcome to yours.
