[Almost] all hardware is 64 bit now. Depends on the operating system you
choose. Personally I'd go with Win7 64... Seems very stable and quick to
me. Plus at some stage soon you will be writing for Win7 systems, so
good to know how they work.

Hi all

 

I'm looking at buying a new PC. Should I spend more money on a 64 bits
system or would a 32 bits system be adequate for average software
development?

 

Any suggestions are welcome as to what to buy and what not to buy.
