Make sure that it has tv out:). Get a decent graphics card that will support dual monitors easily. Make sure that the resolution isn't too high. I always had difficulty using large fonts when programming as it seems to screw the forms up. My current acre at 1680*1050 on a 15.4 inch screen is a little bit uncomfortable with standard fonts.
