> Get a decent graphics card that will support dual monitors easily. Most will. My inspiron 8500 only has a nvidia 4200go and it works fine in games like Quake 3m, HL2 and Doom (struggles in Quake 4 though) while running on my 24in lcd as primary.

I recommend going to shops that have laptops to see and make sure the resolution is ok for you. My 8500 runs at 1920x1200 and I use normal fonts. Large fonts are annoying (especially when browsing). If you go with the Dell (I have 3 of them and no complaints with any 8500, 700m and an old 7000) just wait for the best special. Usually the double ram, $xxx off and free leather case. The right special rolls around often enough. Goes off to check if the 9400 is on the US site... cheers, Jeremy _______________________________________________ Offtopic mailing list [email protected] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/offtopic
