Heavily modified? We simply took away the part where you took the final
review power from the OGB website committee - everything else was really
cosmetic in the end. As noted in the earlier mail to Simon, the OGB
doesn't approve your list of proposed projects, and the community always
has the power to add more, so deleting the content project, while it may
have been a mistake, had no real effect.

The OGB all has full time jobs, none of which include doing OGB work.
While some of us are fortunate enough to have employers who allow us
to spend some time on OGB business, they haven't freed us from our
other responsibilities, so we have a limited amount of time to deal
with this stuff, and have to prioritize what we can do in that time.

Right now, dealing with petulant community members who want to take
their toys and go home because we didn't give them exactly what they
asked for is a bit lower on the priority list than our ongoing
discussions with Sun management over the OpenSolaris/Indiana situation
and just what the relationship between Sun and the community will be.

You have your community group, it has the right to create the projects
you proposed - all you don't have is the final authority to decide what
appears on opensolaris.org. Are you really going to fight us tooth and
nail over that?
