I appeal to the board for information regarding OpenSolaris 2010.03 and
the development model of Indiana.

We've all wanted great clarity from Oracle regarding a great many
things, but the extent to which this board has the authority to demand
answers is highly questionable (even Sun wouldn't provide them)...
therefore I am not concerned with these matters; that is, anything to do
with Solaris(tm).

However, the OpenSolaris distribution ("Indiana") is reasonably within
the jurisdiction of the board. The 6 month development cycle as set
down by Ian Murdock has always been questionable, however there has been
no reasonable communication to the community with regards to the delays
in 2010.03.

Why do you think the OGB has any control or jurisdiction over the OpenSolaris distribution? When did Sun or Oracle hand over those reins?

If memory serves, the previous releases of OpenSolaris were always managed and marketed by Sun, as a Sun product.
