Ask the WWF if "MECHANICS CANNOT BE COPYRIGHTED". Look at the specifics of
the card game they were trying to sell. It was the mechanics of the game
that they acquired. That is why they lost the suit.

'Verbatim', yes. But I can extract any mechanics I like, redescribe them
in my own words, and reuse them. More importantly, since those mechanics
were deisgned and tested around the D20 system, it's of more use to me
than extracting mechanics from, say, Call of Cthulhu.
