It is a hardbound book. Thats why it looks like one.

If you are worried about it scaring WotC, here is
Ryan's reply to the Creature Collection:

"I think it's AWESOME. It is, after all, the whole
point of the excersize! Keep up the great work!"

As you may recall, I didnt break the news of my
alliance with WW, RYAN DID. Remember his post:

He is enthusiastic about all this.

Dont you get it? This is the whole reason for d20 and
the OGL. They want quality products by other parties
driving the sales of their own products. Think about
it, WotC now has one of their main competitors for the
gaming pie (WW) putting out a product that only drives
the sale of WotC products. How can they complain about
that? It's genius.
