Not just a supplement--an entire catagory for "wholly free" d20 products.
I am, and I suspect more than a few others are, as well. Luckilly, as this
is going to be free, we can have a bit more leeway--we can VERY easily
destroy all copies of a work, for example, or make changes to all of them.
What we should ask Ryan is a contact point for the WotC legal department--so
we can submit a letter telling them of our intentions, and asking them to
say no now if they're going to say no. (Not worded like that, though--just
a "notice of intent to make a slighlty similar trademark." If and when they
cry foul, we apologize and change marks.)
What we should ask from the list is for those people willing to donate some
money or legal time towards checking the trademark out. I can cough up a
few dollars--anyone else?
Ryan, would Wizards (or the OGF) be interested in holding ownership of this
mark?
