That's not how it works.
The way it works is that you go to the trouble to actually do something with
the mark in a commercial sense, and >THEN< WotC's legal department decides
if it's worth the trouble to protest it.
If you want to try to get a dialog started, you should try calling the main
WotC switchboard, asking for the legal department, and see how far that
get's ya. I would not be surprised if the answer is "come back to us when
you're ready to publish something."
