It is in Canada. At least, for your pals to make copies of your CDs for
their use (the end user has to be the one doing the copying, presumably to
prevent wholesale bootlegging). There's a rather hefty tax on CD-R media
because of this. As far as I can tell, Napster would be legal in a Canadian
court. Maybe they should just move north.
