A lot of people have inquired about this. Particularly about Star Frontiers
and Gamma World.  I don't recall ever seeing a definitive explanation of WHY
they won't be made available, but it my understanding that sadly they will
not, even under license.  One theory regarding Star Frontiers was not
generating competition for the Star Wars titles.

Another observation made was that generally speaking, the unique contents of
those settings would need to be released to make them successful.  Even
though the underlying system of D&D is being released, the setting content is
not being released except for what is necessary to almost any fantasy
setting.  The Realms and Greyhawk are not being opened.  Without the setting
specific info SF and GW  lose their appeal or become different products.
Maybe there is no easy way to release that material (unlike the d20 system
stuff, which wasn't easy either to be honest).

It is too bad because a lot of people really enjoy those settings. I know I
have stuff for both and wouldn't mind seeing more.
