I got the Scarred Lands Gazetteer today.

It proves something. What it proves, I'm not sure.

We were introduced to the Scarred lands via a pair of d20 products.
("Creature Collection" and "Relics and Rituals") These products also
established the "Sword and Sorcery" brand label.

So, what license does the Gazetteer use?

None. Not OGL, not D20STL, not OOGL, squat but just plain copyright law.

Of course of the whole book, it appears there is about 9 lines of "game
rules" vs fictional background. (being the domains of the 9 Gods), and that
is pushing it.

Would I have bought this with out having the CC and RR? Most likely not,
but having had them, I wanted this, even if I'm not planning on a "Scarred
Lands" game campaign.

Like I said, this booklet proves something, but what I'm still not sure.
