If you NAME IT AFTER and say it was INSPIRED BY the "Open Software
Foundation" then people familiar with the OSF are going to be misled. The
"Open Software Foundation's" GOALS are EMPHATICALLY to "serve the needs of
the customer and the individual", NOT the software design companies.
Isn't that what his point has been all along - that the "Open" in "Open
Gaming Foundation" is misleading because it invites comparisons with the
"Open Software Foundation?"
