I think you mean the Free Software Foundation, which is dedicated to
eliminating the restrictions. This is not where "Open Game" is derived
from. It derived from the term "Open Source" (Open Source Initiative
project: www.opensource.org)
Perhaps you should read one of the questions in the Open Gaming
Definition FAQ, particularly this one...
