for that matter, the draft SRD is far better organized and formatted than the actual 3E books, so they deserve an extra-special pat on the back. even if i was considering buying a PH, i wouldn't, because the SRD is so much easier to use. to take a specific example: i *wish* i'd learned the combat rules for 3E from the SRD. after puzzling through the mish-mash that they call organization in the PH, i still had missed a couple of things after months of play, and it always took too long when i wanted to look something up in play. then i looked at the combat sections of the SRD: clear as glass, and well organized. everything is exactly where i look for it. so i condensed the material slightly (cut section-intro paragrpahs, frex), and formatted it to fit on 2 sheets of paper. now i don't need to look at the PH at all during combat. -- woodelf <*> [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://webpages.charter.net/woodelph/ If any religion is right, maybe they all have to be right.
