Just like it talked for IBM in the late 1980s? > And, besides, most of the fans don't care about the openess, OGL or whatever: > all they care about is the game. They'll have mountains of D20 stuff, which won't be compatible with the '4e' stuff, and little hope of conversion. And, more to the point, they can count on NEW "3e" stuff coming out. Compare to second edition. When the changeover hit, there was no hope of anyone continuing to produce new "2e" material, so players had to bite the bullet and switch. But if there is a non-OGLed "4e", it will have to actively compete with the mountains of D20 material out there. _______________________________________________ Ogf-l mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.opengamingfoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/ogf-l
