It means that Traveller players might end up buying the PHB and T20 if
they can't convince other gamers in the area to learn one of the
existing incarnations of Traveller. I know that if Weird Wars had used
the Pinnacle system, I would probably not have bought it; as it is, I
bought it and managed to run a fun one-shot with it. It also means that
WOTC could end up with a good crossover business with D20 Modern,
depending on how compatible the systems end up being.
