<<SNIPPED legal compliance section>>

<<
It is my understanding that they are violating the OGL by adding
additional terms, "include the copyright notice for each separately
copyrighted piece of open game content" -- rather then just doing as the
OGL states: Must copy the Section 15 from the product you are using,
and Add your own Copyright.
>>

They haven't added any additional terms, because the OGL already
requires the inclusion of the copyright notice. Company X seems to
think that those who may potentially use their content won't be able to
understand how to properly mark OGC or how to adjust s.15.

<<
PS. I didn't want to make the company look bad, because I like the fact
that they are also posting a Codex of all their OGL on the web -- but if
it will help the discussion, I can post the URL to the legal statement
above, and Scan in their Section 15 from the product.
>>

I'd like to see these particulars. I see no problems with constructive
criticism and revealing who "screwed up" and why.

They seem to desire to educate readers on how to distribute OGC
properly.

There doesn't seem to be anything specifically wrong with it other than:

"Under Section 15. Copyright Notice of that version of the OGL, you
must include the copyright notice for each separately copyrighted piece
of open game content exactly as it appears in the source material;"

Since: "You must update the COPYRIGHT NOTICE portion of this License to
include the exact text of the COPYRIGHT NOTICE of any Open Game Content
You are copying, modifying or distributing..."

Anyone using one piece of OGC that has that 25 entry s.15 attached to it
has to include the 22 extra entries, though they would think otherwise.

The phrase: "The copyright notice may not be modified in any way,
including for editorial reasons."

Won't matter, because the OGL gives you permission to modify it.
