Anything you reference has to be tracable to the actual content. If you say in
your Section 15 that you used "Mike's Big Book of Spells" and "Mike's Big Book
of Monsters", but you do not have a single monster, spell, or snippet of text
in your work that is traceable to these works, then you are in violation of the
license.

No, you're not.

You can put anything you want to in your Section 15--so that part of the license won't bite you.

As long as you're not "indicating compatabilty or co-adaptability", you're not in violation of use of the names, either.


Heck, you could even get away with it, regardless of what the license says, by making a work that contains your new OGC and the OGC of "Mike's Books", and then deriving from that.
